无线与协议

无线技术应用日益广泛。WiFi, 4G等通信网络已大规模使用和部署,无线全双工(full duplex)、无源通信(backscatter)等前沿技术不断涌现。现有的无线技术也面临着许多前沿的挑战问题:第一,如何基于这些新的无线通信技术优化现有协议的性能?第二, 如何利用这"无所不在"的电磁波信号资源来对周边环境进行感知、交互? 课题组围绕上述两个问题在无线协议和无线感知方面展开研究。

无线协议方面的研究问题包括:1)如何改进与优化传统的传输层技术,优化其在无线传输环境下的性能,2)如何有效避免不同传输技术在公共频段的互相干扰,3)如何在多用户,多接入点的情形下,高效协同多个传输。

无线感知相较于传统的基于光学、声学信号的环境感知技术,基于无线信号的感知具有隐私友好、无需额外设备部署等优点;同时也面临多路效应、状态存在时空动态性等问题的挑战。本课题将利用WIFI信号的传播特性,结合数据处理、模式识别、机器学习等方法,对运动检测、场景检测、室内定位等应用实现进行研究、实践,为未来基于无线感知的新型环境感知、人机交互技术提供指导。
